The Buddy Walk was established by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. This is the second year that DSACT, Down Syndrom Associaton of Central Texas, has asked me to photograph this extraordinary event and it was again, really fun and really heart warming! They had a petting zoo, minature horses, helicopters, fire trucks, games, live music, and all kind of other fun activities for children and families.
